TRUTH BALLOT

This is not an election. This is an awakening.

"We are not voting for names. We are voting for truth."

The time has come to reclaim our voices. Our land. Our dignity. Our sovereignty. Vote for what you believe, not for empty promises and propaganda.

What Is Truth Ballot?

The Problem:

Political propaganda, empty promises, and personality cults have dominated our electoral process for too long. We vote for faces and names, not principles or policies.

The Solution:

Truth Ballot lets you vote for the values you truly believe in:

  • Land Return & Redistribution
  • Pan-African Unity
  • Economic Justice
  • Food Sovereignty
  • Anti-Colonial Governance

Instead of "Vote Party X", you vote for your principles: "Anti-Colonialism, Land Return, Black Consciousness."

Value Breakdown & History

🌍 Land Return & Redistribution

The land question remains central to African liberation. Colonialism and apartheid systematically dispossessed African people of their land through:

  • The 1913 Natives Land Act (allocating only 7% of land to Africans)
  • Forced removals and Bantustan systems
  • Current neo-colonial land ownership patterns

Land return is not just about property but about restoring our relationship with the earth and our means of production.

🖤 Pan-African Unity

The artificial borders dividing Africa were created by colonial powers at the 1884 Berlin Conference with no regard for ethnic, linguistic, or cultural realities.

Pan-Africanism emerged as both a political and cultural movement to:

  • Unite African people globally
  • Challenge colonial borders and systems
  • Promote African solutions to African problems

Why Truth Ballot Matters

The current political system keeps us trapped in a cycle of broken promises and empty personalities. Truth Ballot breaks this cycle.

The Media Manipulation

Mainstream media and electoral systems focus on personality cults and party brands rather than the policies that affect our daily lives.

  • Political advertising focuses on faces, not facts
  • Media coverage prioritizes drama over policy details
  • Electoral systems reinforce party loyalty over principle alignment

The Youth Disconnection

Young voters are increasingly disengaged from traditional politics because they see the disconnect between campaign promises and real action.

Youth voting rates (18-25) 32%
Youth trust in political parties 17%
Youth interest in policy issues 78%

Truth Ballot reconnects voters with their real values and shows which movements truly represent those values — creating accountability and transparency in our democratic process.

The Vision For African Sovereignty

Truth Ballot was born from the need to reconnect our political systems with the real needs and values of our people. We saw how traditional party politics had failed to deliver on its promises and how voters were increasingly disconnected from the process.

Founded by Black Soil Voice and Artscience Technologies, Truth Ballot represents a grassroots movement to reclaim democracy for the people, centering sovereignty, dignity, land, and truth in South Africa's political discourse.

We are not just changing how people vote. We are changing how people think about representation, democracy, and power.
